It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas......
My triple t
rees in the family room
decorated with tin snowflakes, wood stars and icicles,
tin ornaments and more....
"Vintage" photos of my brother, Rodney and I taken in the 50's.
A real Miracle on 34th street Santa!

And a beautiful Nativity from
Past and Presents.
After all he is the reason for the
season.
Merry Christmas to all!!!!
I love this Santa, he reminds me of Gandalf.
This is a beautiful angel box from
Past and Presents and he sits on
a great felted mat from
Vita Marie. These gold glass
glitter snowmen are made with
vintage bottles, beads and vintage
jewelry.
That time of year. Had to start decorating right
after Thanksgiving....Had to get all the boxes down from the attic over the
garage, empty them and get them back in the attic before Monday because
they were delivering the wood for my bedroom and it is stored in the garage
til it is installed.
My snowmen made from vintage jars and jewelry. The bear family believes.

Brigitte setting up her tables.
She had beautiful hangers she made with vintage music pages, wonderful journals, tags
and bon bon magnets made from vintage buttons.
Megan adding finishing touches to my jewelry display. Pierre sold his famous breads.
When it was dark Friday night we had
lights to brighten up our tent. All in all it was a lot of fun. Had to laugh,
people wanted to buy my props...a decoy, shoe and Brigitte's mirror, which
we did sell.

I participated in a Parisian Tent Sale, a new art and craft show.
Here Pierre, Brigitte and Megan are putting up the tent. I had about a minute to take photos
before I was holding one of the ends...Check out the last photo. Brigitte, Pierre and I shared a tent. We had a great two days....

Pierre almost got it! Brigitte I am holding it... Megan Exactly how long do I have to hold this? And finally what's wrong with the first picture

The two spikes you see
are on a cactus plant,
the plant at the bottom
of the photo, they will
open into tiny white
flowers.
This is a beautiful white orchid
with a deep purple throat.

Another Dendrobium
with two spikes.

My orchids are going crazy
blooming must be all the
rain we've had. All of these
spikes are on the same
plant the one farthest to
left in the photo.

This is Emerald Queen
I almost missed it. I
was moving another orchid
and saw something purple
under the shelf and there
was a double flower !
Just in time for Halloween

Ready set....Leap!!!!
Crazy squirrels.....
Check out the next photo
of the acrobat.
The poor birds never had a chance. There were two small gray squirrels and they ate the
entire suet block in two days!
This is a great vine. It is from one of my Dad's plants from
Cleveland. He called it a lace vine. It is in the clematis family.
I am really excited because I have had it forever and this is
the first time it has bloomed for me. Must have been the cold
winter we had, lots of things are blooming better. It smells
heavenly.

This Anhinga was drying his wings on the top of my
Cypress tree the other morning.

This is the fiber piece I did of Nestor for the Global Visions
Exhibit at the Nature Conservancy. It is the little green heron
below.
This is Nestor, he is a Little Green Heron.
He came to visit on the bank of the lake
this morning while I was planting a new garden.
I did a fiber piece of Nestor two years ago, I'll
post it later.
